Frequently Asked Questions

What is hyaluronan?

Hyaluronan is a molecule naturally produced and found in all mammal’s tissue. It initiates healing, retains moisture, lubricates, and absorbs shock in joints.

What is the molecular weight of a hyaluronan molecule?

Molecular weight refers to the size of the HA molecule. The molecular weight of hyaluronan is critical to its functionality and bio-availability. Low molecular weight HA (<500,000 Daltons) is considered pro-inflammatory and can have negative effects. HA with a high molecular weight (>3 million Daltons) is too large to be absorbed well. The MHB3 Hyaluronan used in Hyaluronex hits the sweet spot, with a range of 750,000-2.5 million Daltons.

What does your customer satisfaction guarantee entail?

If you are not completely satisfied with the product, we offer a 45 day money-back guarantee that applies with valid proof of purchase. Contact the place of purchase for your money-back.

Where does the MHB3® molecule come from?

MHB3® is made via a process called microbial fermentation. It is a very similar process to how penicillin or yogurt is made. This process gives us a molecule that has no animal or plant by-products. So, it is completely vegan, allergy free, gluten free, and soy free.

Is there a way to schedule my shipments so that I don't have to re-order every month?

Yes! We offer an auto-ship program through our manufacturing office. You can schedule an automatic shipment of Baxyl every month. Just call the number on the back of the bottle.

What are your shipping rates?

Effective July 1, 2022, retail orders under $50.00 are subject to a $7.00 shipping fee. Wholesale orders under $400.00 are subject to a $15.00 shipping fee. If orders meet or exceed said pricing limit, then shipping is free.

Is my packaging BPA free?

Yes. All plastic packaging is BPA free.

Where can I buy Baxyl® or HyaGlo®?

There are multiple ways to order our products. You can buy direct from us by calling (888-521-8867), emailing (csgorders@cogentsolutionsgroup.com) or through our website at cogentsolutionsgroup.com. You can also find our products at local stores/distributors using our Dealer Locator map on our website.

What do I do if my product accidentally freezes or is exposed to extreme heat?

If your product freezes, place at room temperature and allow to thaw slowly. Do not allow product to freeze again. If exposed to heat, place at room temperature and allow to cool slowly. Do not allow product to get that hot again. Repeat exposure to those temperatures can dramatically reduce the efficacy of the product. Recommend storage is out of sunlight, between 40-80 degrees F. Damage to the product can have an effect on product consistency-if it is more watery than usual, the molecule may have a decreased efficacy due to molecular breakdown.

What is the difference between HA, hyaluronan, hyaluronic acid, and sodium hyaluronate?

There is no difference, they are all the same. Hyaluronan, hyaluronic acid, and sodium hyaluronate are all different ways of referring to HA.

Do you still sell Baxyl CBD?

No. Unfortunately, due to regulation issues when selling from state to state, we are no longer selling Baxyl CBD and do not have any immediate plans for re-production. We will revisit some day maybe later down the line, but not at this time. We do not have any Baxyl CBD left in inventory.

Why is low molecular weight hyaluronic acid better for skincare?

For the skin to benefit from topical use of HA, the molecule must be readily available for the skin to absorb. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid is not small enough for absorption and so, lays on top of the skin. On the other hand, low molecular weight hyaluronic acid is absorbed by the skin and penetrates deeper. Specifically, Glysyn Hyaluronan is tailored at the molecular level for topical application and optimized for transdermal delivery and absorption.

Are there any side effects when taking Baxyl?

There are no negative side effects associated with taking Baxyl. Hyaluronic acid has no toxicity level which means there is no risk of overdose.

How long can I continue taking Baxyl?

Baxyl is completely safe for continual consumption and is expert recommended. The benefits of Baxyl are guaranteed when taking consistently at the recommended dose.

How does Baxyl compare to a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM supplement?

Glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM are incomplete precursors, which means the body cannot use these supplements in the forms in which they are given. They are building blocks of a more bioavailable, complete compound. The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons now recommends against glucosamine/chondroitin supplementation citing it to be as ineffective as placebo. Baxyl with MHB3® Hyaluronan is a patented and proven complete joint supplement. Baxyl’s liquid formulation is quickly absorbed by the body and immediately put to work, resulting in maximum efficacy.

Why are liquid formulations important?

The body cannot absorb hyaluronic acid molecules unless they are fully hydrated. Because HA molecules are extremely water loving, they can hold up to 1000 times their weight in water. Dry forms of HA (pills, tablets, capsules & powders) do not have enough time to fully hydrate before being passed through the body’s digestive tract. Essentially, dry forms are not absorbed by the body and therefore much less effective. The primary absorption points for HA throughout the body are in the mucosal tissue of the mouth and the upper parts of the throat. To take advantage of the absorption points, the supplement must be bioavailable for immediate absorption as soon as it hits your mouth. Therefore, we will continue to offer only fully hydrated, bioavailable HA supplements that are guaranteed to deliver results.
